Executive Director of Baseline Sports, Raf Choudhury is a former member of Great Britain’s National Baseball Team and brings over 25 years in baseball experience. He has played in European Championships, Olympic qualifiers, and throughout Europe promoting the game of baseball through MLB International.
Over the course of the last 20+ years, Coach Raf has been a staple in the baseball community throughout Ontario and Canada, as a player, coach, and umpire. He is a Learning Facilitator and Coach Developer for Baseball Canada. Presently, he is the National Team coach and International Advisor to the Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Federation.
For Raf, it is a lifelong passion to develop athletes and help them achieve their personal goals and to be able to become the best athlete they can be. This desire has turned into what is now Baseline Sports. With a fantastic team, innovative teaching techniques, and a safe and fun environment, Baseline Sports has become the ultimate athletes’ destination.
Jeremias was born in Canada, but spent his childhood in Venezuela. Upon returning to Canada, Jeremias was offered an academic scholarship to Ryerson University where he studies electrical engineering. He has also been a member of the Ryerson Rams Baseball Team since 2015, and the Leaside Junior/Senior Baseball Teams from 2015 to 2017. While in Venezuela, he was a member of the 90 Millas Baseball Academy in 2011 to 2012, and trained with Navegantes del Magallanes in 2011.
Mena graduated First Class from York University in 2018 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree, in Biomedical Science. She is currently attending Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in the Doctor of Chiropractic degree program, with graduation set for 2022. Mena has been a member of the Ontario Provincial Baseball Program from the age of 14, and currently plays for the Ontario Women’s Provincial Baseball Team. She is a 6 time Baseball Canada National Champion.
